July 4 2008
Four Quinns ready to march.

Tom led the parade – the Springfield/Morton Democrats had their largest contingent ever for the annual July 4th Parade in Springfield. The Lions Club does a wonderful job each year with this event. We all enjoyed waving to friends and neighbors and handing out candy to the kids as we walked by. Afterwards, there were pony rides, face painting and a moon bounce for the kids at Memorial Park. It was a great day to be a part of and a wonderful day for our community. Thanks to Ed Kelly and his "big red truck." Nate and Sammi Quinn loved riding in the back and proved to be very talented wavers to the crowd! We can't wait 'til next year!
